SIGMA PACKWORX

 Sigma Stretch Film is proud to present Packworx, our state of the art Package Assessment Lab and Training Center. This 12,000 SF facility was developed as part of Sigma’s mission of “Excellence through innovation, education and creative stretch film packaging solutions.” Our goal is to support the development of distributor sales people by offering training (both classroom and hands-on) to better equip them to sell value-added stretch film solutions in a very competitive market. The foundation of Sigma’s proprietary Rite-Gauging® methodology, as well as basic machinery education, will be introduced during the 8 hour training session. The main classroom will be used for all of the presentations that will include stretch film manufacturing techniques, the science behind successful packaging and Sigma’s sales process of Rite-Gauging®. The information learned in the classroom will be used in hands on applications in our wrapping lab. Packworx is also a lab, staffed with Certified Packaging Engineers that support our clients by offering solutions to their most difficult packaging problems. Whether our client’s goal is reducing damage in the distribution channel, finding a creative solution for an extraordinary application, improved sustainability, reduced labor costs or simply to reduce their overall packaging costs, our packaging experts at Packworx are there to assist.
